I’m still able to photograph a few more families for fun holiday portraits and they make wonderful gifts, so if you are interested give me a call at the studio. Email me via my contact page at A Fine Photographer or call me at 303-768-0381! Sessions are limited but I’d love to work with you.

These are a few images from the Concours d’Elegance fundraising event, held at The Centennial Airport in the Denver Tech Center in Colorado, at The TAC Air Hangar on August 27, 2011. I always enjoy photographing these gorgeous collectible cars, airplanes and motorcycles, but the children we are trying to help are the real prizes. A Fine Photographer – Senior Portraits Chatfield High School, Littleton, Colorado
by Julie Kemerling on Aug.24, 2011, under High School Seniors
These are some of the images from Katelyn’s high school senior session I did a couple of weeks ago. She goes to Chatfield High School and she is so full of energy and easy to photograph. I had to try really hard to get her to wipe the huge, beautiful smile off her face for a few of these photos. Best wishes to you Katelyn. Thanks for choosing me as your photographer!
A Fine Photographer – Baby Photos for Jimmy in Lone Tree, Colorado
by Julie Kemerling on Aug.20, 2011, under Babies & Children
Ok, all I can say is cute. As you can see below, we had several toys and props available to keep this little guy interested in taking photos. Babies, toddlers and kids in general are usually interested in taking photos for about five minutes and then they’re done. If you have small children, I bet you know what I’m talking about. So I’ve been working on perfecting my improvisational photography skills!

A Fine Photographer – Family Portraits in Highlands Ranch
by Julie Kemerling on Jul.26, 2011, under Family Portraits, Weddings & Engagements
A couple of weeks ago I got the chance to take a family over to Daniel’s Park in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, for a variety of family portraits. When we first arrived in late afternoon, we had what looked like an ominous storm coming on, but it soon cleared and we ended up with sunshine, which is typical Colorado weather (although this summer has been kinda crazier than usual it seems, even more unpredictable if that’s possible). Anyway, here are a few images from the session.

It looks like I’m making them climb on the side of a cliff here. See what we go through to get the pictures! LOL. It really wasn’t that steep.

Unique Photography for Unique Umbrella Company
by Julie Kemerling on Jul.07, 2011, under Fine Art
I got the chance to do some product photography last week too and here are some of the images from the shoot to share with you. I was happy that the vision I had in my mind for this turned into reality. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen umbrellas photographed quite like this, so let me know what you think. This company, Splendor for Your Guests, is a really unique umbrella rental company and offers a variety of products to rent for weddings and events. Lori and Nil who run the company won my complimentary photography session giveaway at one of The Wedding Connectors (TWC) events (ask me for more info about TWC if you’re interested) and I decided to push the creativity button and give them some really unique images to work with. I wasn’t really sure what we were going to come up with which made it all the more fun. We had a blast trying different things and luckily it wasn’t windy (for once) on the day of the shoot! LOL.

Danielle & Nick Married at The Franciscan
by Julie Kemerling on Jul.06, 2011, under Weddings & Engagements
Danielle and Nick were recently married at The Franciscan Event Center and it was just a wonderful wedding. Everything seemed to flow with a natural elegance and the wedding party, family and guests were great fun as well. The fresh flowers were gorgeous and designed by Terrilynn of Petals from Heaven and Complete Music provided the DJ music and entertainment. Here are just a few images from their special day.
High School Senior Portraits Littleton, Colorado
by Julie Kemerling on Jul.01, 2011, under High School Seniors
I really have a great time working with teenagers and photographing their high school senior portraits during the summer months each year. Here’s a session from last week with Lauren! She has been tap dancing since she was a little girl and so incorporating her tap shoes was important and gave us lots of variety in her images. The high school senior shoots give me a creative break between the weddings and they give me a chance to focus on different styles of portrait work. Working with teenagers also gives me the opportunity to learn the fashion trends. Too funny right? But anyone who knows me knows I love all that stuff too.
