Kristen and Greg are a very special couple to me personally because Kristen is my daughter’s best friend. I took these two downtown on an unbelieveably windy day (which created a few little challenges with hair etc. but we had some good laughs too). These are a few photos from our day together. I really enjoy letting couples just express how they feel about each other naturally during my photo shoots. These two are getting married this fall in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I am so excited for the wedding.

A Fine Photographer – Horse Photography at Zuma’s Rescue Ranch

We had a great time last Sunday visiting Zuma’s Horse Rescue Ranch and learning about all the wonderful work they do here. It is very emotional to hear the story of these horses, the abuse they have suffered, and then to hear how they have …been saved here. They also help children overcome many issues by teaching them to ride and by developing special bonds with the horses. Amazing to visit. They had special activities for the kids including a hay ride and an Easter Egg hunt in the stables. Harper especially liked seeing the pot belly pig in the barn.

Here are a few of the images from a wonderful night at last weekend’s Morgan Adams Artma 2012 event. This event is one of the fundraisers the Morgan Adams Foundation holds each year and it is a unique, funky, fabulous art auction and is embraced by those who believe deeply in the healing power of art. At each highly anticipated event, Artma hosts over 1,000 guests and sells over 200 pieces of art to benefit the Morgan Adams Foundation. I was honored to help photograph the event again this year. I have sort of attached myself to this awesome organization – the children we help, all the supporters and all the volunteers are so inspirational.
